On Wednesday i traveled down the M1 to Oxford where we spent the day exploring the beauties this old English town had to offer - The Pit rivers Museum was extraordinarily interesting ! ..
Frost
Winter has finally descended, with the first frosted winter morning being last Monday. I am the worst person in the world at waking up in the morning - especially when its dark and cold in winter. BUT the beautiful frost that I've observed on my walks into the Fine Art School have become far more pleasurable...

Gold King Mine
While in Arazona, i stayed in the beautiful little town on Jerome. This utterly unique artisan town was full of beauty and history - In its past it was once a mining town. Now, built on top of a mining shaft sight there is this amazing photographers playground called 'Gold King Mine'. Every spare sauce foot was filled with beautiful only cars, and various other rusted objects.
It really opened my eyes to the beauty is the discarded. While traveling in America i was taken aback how consumerism fuels their entire economy. So having this unique place that celebrates the beauty in the old.
Self Portrait
In the modern post-internet world we are conditioned to smile and give off our 'Best' self in photographs. When given the task of creating a self portrait i decided to explore the self which is often kept hidden by the force smiles and fake poses. I like to think of my self as a confident person, but i hold a lot of tension in my hands when nervous or under pressure. Through this photo i hope to give views an insight into a true persona, rather than a preconceived one.
